The Dom Perignon was flowing and neon laser lights caressed those grooving to electro remixes on the dance floor. Clubbers, about 500 of them, had turned up for the opening night of a new nightclub named Dream on March 15, 2013. And quite a lot is riding on this Dream. It is the latest in a string of new outlets to open at Clarke Quay - once heaving with hip revellers congregating at its mega-clubs, before it was overtaken by the glittery playgrounds of the rich and restless at Marina Bay Sands and bespoke cocktail bars. Opened by nightlife group LifeBrandz and lifestyle marketing agency Massive Collective, the 9,000 sq ft club takes over the space formerly housing Zirca, the commercial club which closed last month after four years.
