#Singapore's Chinatown Beer Uncle dies from heart attack
Update: In a post on their Facebook on Tuesday, The Good Beer Company said they will reopen on Thursday. Stomp A man, fondly known as 'Beer Uncle' to his customers, passed away last Thursday after collapsing suddenly at work from suspected heart failure. In a eulogy on The Good Beer Company's Facebook page, it said that Goh Koon Hong, 64, "found joy and happiness amongst his customers", many of whom became his friends. His funeral was attended by people from all walks of life and nationalities, and he had died doing what he loved. In a Facebook post on Friday, GBC also mentioned that Goh was rushed immediately to hospital after his collapse but doctors were unable to revive him. The shop at Chinatown will be closed indefinitely. The shop was opened by Daniel Goh in 2011 and the late Mr Goh is his previously estranged uncle who used to work as an estate cleaner. After GBC's...
