Our first makan session of the year was a resounding success! Firstly because everyone turned up and secondly it is almost unanimous that everyone thought that the food was really good! The highlight for me was the steamed fish with black olives 4.5/5, claypot rice 4.5/5 and the Tau Suan 4.5/5. Most of the other dishes were at least a 4 to 4.25 which is a big achievement when you are cooking for 100 people! Many thanks to Chef Andy and his crew for hosting us! Big thanks to Soundman and Irene for helping organize the session and iJeff for the photos! We are planning to have such makan sessions monthly this year so if you missed this one, don't fret! We are already planning another one at the end of Feb! See you there!
