LOL...well this place is actually at the Junction with Desker. After reading the positive reviews I thought I had to venture to try this classic. Walked in exactly at 6pm ...wasn't intentional, traffic patterns dictated that. Got a seat in the booth. Was given 2 glossy menus and an order pad and pencil. Frist impressions.....nostalgic place...clean, well kept. I was surpised to see all the la mien and other more Chinese items on the menu but hey I don't mind it one bit. Orders were placed and teas served rather promptly. Food came fast and furious therafter a short wait. Plain noodles (shallot oil) first with a side dish of Shanghai sliced pork stir fired with bean sauce. Not bad. The noodles colour looks bit off but tastes ok. A tad more shallot oil for fragrance wud have been nice. Dim sum ensues - siew mai, their special mee sua cake, pan fried carrot cake, steamed pork...
