River Prawn Ee Mee is a great delight

Though it's tucked away in an obscure locale within the industrial environs of Sin Ming estate, New Ubin Seafood has, over the years, acquired a reputation for dishing out quality seafood. Dishes like their ever-popular Chilli Crab keep drawing in regular clientele. It's worth making a trip there, as you'll discover many other delicacies to whet your appetite! One recently introduced dish is the Shovelnose Ray ($4.50 per 100g). The head of the critter is sliced into two portions, to be used in two different dishes. The lower portion of the head, flanking the mouth, is braised in a claypot with bittergourd, garnishes and fermented black bean sauce.
