Which Chee Cheong Fun is your favourite?

Chee Cheong Fun is one of the Dim Sum items that can stand its own ground, like Char Siew Pau or siew mai. Versatile as an all-day snack, from breakfast to tea, it's a quick tummy filler when the hunger pangs hit you. At some places, the rice rolls are made fresh, spread out like a big sheet, steamed on the spot, and rolled up while still hot. Apart from plain rolls, there are also those with fillings like turnip with dried shrimps and mushroom, Char Siew and prawns. A sweet-salty bean sauce, and if you like, a chilli sauce are doused over the scissor-cut rolls. The finishing touches are a dash of aromatic oil and sesame seeds.
