Jetstar wins Best Business Class White Wine

Jetstar's business class might not be as posh as those of the exclusive airlines, but it has beaten them in one tipple department - white wine. It has become the first low-cost carrier to win the Best Business Class White Wine - a joint winner with Delta - at the Cellars in the Sky awards held in London. Jetstar also soared to the second spot in the Business Class Cellar category, which was won by Qantas. Jetstar's winning wine is a luscious yet steely dry Waipara Hills' Sauvignon Blanc 2010 from New Zealand. In fact, it's a much celebrated multiple-award winner, picking up top accolades from new Zealand, UK, Germany and Japan. Refreshingly crisp and brimming with aromas of gooseberry, passionfruit and lemon, it boasts fruit, citrus and mineral flavours such as melon, and curiously, mung beans.
