Kumo ( @ icon village) - A kaseiki review

Kumo is a semi fine dining establishment that only serves three to four set menus - with the main menu being the kaseiki menu of the day ($82). The good thing is that they serve the food according to your dining style. Thus, if you are looking to have a quick dinner, it can be done, but if you are not in a rush, one can enjoy a laid back several course menu that lasts the evening. We started with the smoked salmon with mustard greens. The salmon was only slightly smoked so it retained a little of its sashimi after-taste. Next was the crabmeat dumpling in bonito soup. This is a soulful clear soup that comes with shitake mushroom. We then had the sashimi dish which consisted of fresh kampachi (yellow-tail) and sake (salmon) sashimi.
