A man from Hail, Saudi Arabia, came up with the idea to install a public fridge, where people can leave or take food, in an effort to make life easier for beggars. According to Gulf News, he encouraged people to donate their extra food so that people can find food for themselves without the embarsassment of begging for it. The anonymous man received praise online after religious scholar Shaikh Mohammad Al Arafi posted a photo of the fridge on twitter with a caption in Arabic that translates to: "I've always said the people of Hail are generous. A man puts a fridge outside his house for leftover food; an indirect act of charity for the needy. Oh how I love you, Hail." People are even suggesting that mosques in the area should start implementing the idea, and especially with the fasting month coming in June.
