One has a never-ending queue; the other has empty seats with bored looking staff. The Honeycomber boys from Stateland Café next door diversified into Korean style soft serve and frozen yogurt, after getting some inspiration from Korea’s Softree and Milkcow. 5 flavours are available – classic, chocolate, caramel, matcha, and apple & cinnamon. All ranging from $6 – $7. Each cup comes with a real sticky honey comb (from Malaysia), and a gimmicky looking stringe which squeezes out liquid honey. The Matcha ($7.0) and Apple Cinnamon flavours are the better bet, coming with homemade granola which adds a crunch as you savour the soft, fast-to-melt milk based soft serve.
