5 best high-tea buffets: #sgfood #sg #singapore #buffets #buffet #hotel #hotels
New dishes have been added recently to the already wide spread, so you are really spoilt for choice here. Carousel’s high tea buffet is also probably the only one in town with a crustacean corner where you can find a steamed whole salmon, poached green mussels, clams and lobster claws. The Asian section is another crowd puller, with new additions such as Indian rojak, roti prata and authentic Taiwanese snacks like oyster vermicelli and deep-fried crispy chicken with oriental spice – all dished up behind “live” cooking stations. The nasi lemak is also a winner – the rice has a lovely coconut fragrance and the sambal chilli is plain addictive. On weekends, there’s Hainanese chicken rice and Middle Eastern chicken kebabs.
