More chicken coming to Singapore. That was my thought when I tried out Nando's at a recent tasting. Located at Tanglin Mall, a place popular with the expatriates, Nando's target is to get some of the spending power that currently goes to another popular American joint- Chilli's. Down to the vibe, the place seats about 160 and can be pretty packed at lunch time, so do come early to ensure your share of that freshly cooked chicken. Food wise, I started with the Chicken Livers and Portuguese Roll ($6.90), which was done well. I love it that the livers were done medium rare. Another starter I got to try was the Petisco ($21.90), which consisted of some chicken thigh and wings, but I found it a little on the tough side.
