Chong Qing grilled whole fish is not a new food idea in Singapore. There are a handful of eateries, mostly congregating in the Chinatown and Bugis area , that offers this impressive fish dish heaped with fiery chillies. But the new Riverside Grilled Fish restaurant would be the first large-scale franchise offering the Chong Qing grilled fish in a streamlined manner. The parent Beijing concept has 54 outlets across China and will open the doors to its 150-seater outpost at Raffles City Shopping Centre on 27 June 2016. Let's talk about the star of the show first: the grilled whole fish. Diners can choose from four different varieties like red tilapia ($35), seabass ($35), black pomfret ($38), and garoupa ($42).
