The Song Of India wins one Michelin star

Indian restaurants don't always get the recognition that they deserve. All that has changed now that The Song Of India , helmed by corporate executive chef Manjunath Mural, has received a Michelin star. One of two Indian restaurants in Asia to get a star, it is the first in South-East Asia. When The Song Of India opened 10 years ago, it put refined Indian dining on Singapore's map. Since then, The Song Of India has been pushing the bondaries on Indian gastronomy with modern plating and a mish-mash of influences from North and South India. Leading a new way to Indian cuisine with his blue cheese naans and tandoori lobsters, chef Mural calls his culinary style "Asian- Indian gastronomy".
