The Spanish tapas concept seems to have hit Singapore by storm just by looking at the number of places that have sprouted out. From the new hip Esquina Tapas bar to the slightly more established Bodega Y, I think the jury is still out as to where one should go to for the best tapas experience here on the island. Esquina is top of my list for tapas places to try but with two bubs in tow, I don’t think the tiny shophouse would accommodate our bugaboo so we headed instead to Bilbao for some tapas and Spanish fare. We heard quite a few good things about Bilbao, the first being the reasonable prices, the second that they serve a good house brew and thirdly, they are located at a nice corner in town and are baby friendly. We actually wanted to try Bilbao out a couple of weeks back on a weekday, but they weren’t open for lunch, so we had to postpone the experience till last sunda...
