Jasmine Sokko releases her debut EP, ‘Nº’
In the wee hours this morning, Jasmine Sokko released her debut EP Nº into the world, via indie label 13 Orphans Records . The five-track collection is the fruit of a year’s labour from the young singer-songwriter and producer and includes previously shared singles such as the shrouded-but-kinetic adrenaline shot “Porcupine” , the wispy and woozy kiss-off “H20” and her breakout herald “1057” . Written and arranged entirely by Sokko, the EP also features contributions from Singapore-born, New York-based electronic lightning rod Yllis and homegrown producers fulses , Shorya and Jason Gelchen . All five tracks were mastered by Kwok Fang at AOR Studios . In its entirety, the project is a seamless piece of boundary-torching electronic music that embraces various canons in its future-charting fold.
