It was actually easy for me. When a song is personal, it’s easier for me to write – it comes to me more naturally. That’s the thing about writing music from your heart: It’s easy because it’s coming directly from you. I wrote this song because I had to express how I was feeling and I had no one I could talk to. My ex-girlfriend said it would be easier for me to move on if I went back to writing. So, I went back to my rhyme book and started writing. The only person I could think of working with was Rauzan so I went to his studio and worked on the song. After he heard me rapping, he understood where I was coming from and came up with the beat from scratch in 15 minutes. We completed the song in one session.
