Luke Evans - New breed of British baddies Yahoo! Movies
If your movie needs a deliciously nasty baddie that can believably deliver evildoings and world destruction, then a British actor can more than fill the bill. Other than that incredibly delicious and sexy accent (admit it, there’s something about how words roll off an Englishman’s tongue!), it seems that Brits are getting more work in Hollywood as “the villain.” Of course, casting Brits as the bad guy isn’t anything new. Notable Brit villains you might remember are Jeremy Irons in The Lion King , Anthony Hopkins in Silence of the Lambs and Alan Rickman in almost every movie he’s done (Die Hard, Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, the Harry Potter films we can go on.) Take a look at the new group of British baddies that we absolutely love to hate.
