Don't miss Eileen Chong reading from her new PSP collection *Peony* at The Arts House in Singapore today at 3pm.

Eileen Chong’s debut collection of poetry Burning Rice established her as an emerging poet to take note of. Her poetry is simple, sincere and meticulously crafted. Eileen will read from her impressive debut and discuss her creative process. She will also use the occasion to launch and read from her much anticipated sophomore effort Peony . This session is moderated by Paul Tan, Director of the Singapore Writers Festival and a published poet. About Eileen Chong Eileen Chong is a Singapore-born, Sydney-based poet. She completed a Master of Letters at Sydney University. She won the Poets Union Youth Fellowship in 2010 and was the Australian Poetry Fellow for 2011-2012. Her first book of poems, Burning Rice , was highly commended in the Anne Elder Award 2012 and was shortlisted for the Australian Prime Minister's Literary Awards in poetry in 2013.
