Best man Charles (Grant) meets Carrie (Andie MacDowell) at a wedding, and sparks fly. Months later, they meet again at another wedding, but Carrie is engaged. As to what happens at the remaining two weddings and the funeral, watch the movie to find out.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>For Grant, this would be the start of a long and high-profile career in romantic comedies. It is rare when romantic comedies are contenders for Academy Awards, but 'Four Weddings and a Funeral' was nominated for Best Picture. That is how good the movie is.</p>
