Come June, Heijnen will be celebrating his biggest solo exhibition to date with Residue 2.0, where he will share his views on witnessing Asia’s ‘second coming’, having lived in the continent for two decades. Another significance of the number 2 is its representation of duality that is captured in his unique method of photographic art – the old vs the new, urbanisation vs nature and the geometric vs the organic.
