This course aims to help individuals, who want to be actors, access the infinite number of possible acting choices through their own imagination. When actors receive scripts or instructions from a director, whether in an audition or a rehearsal, he/she must often be able to bring to life a fictional character that is not only believable and truthful, but interesting as well. Good actors do so successfully and contribute to the creative process rather than just be a participant waiting to be told what to do. Directors appreciate actors with this quality as it feeds the director ideas and allows him to shape the entire show instead of building it from scratch.
