Fashion Studio 1A: 20th Century Fashion This module introduces you to a range of methods for generating and exploring design ideas for fashion and textile design. You will be introduced to key themes, silhouettes and designers from the 20th Century and learn how to research and reference art and design as a source for inspiration. Fashion Techniques 1A: Basic Skills in Fashion 1 This module introduces you to the fundamental techniques for the realisation of your fashion ideas. You will be introduced to flat pattern drafting and cutting techniques, a range of sewing methods and garment construction techniques, basic properties of textiles and fabrics, and dyeing techniques.
