Circuit of The Americas and the Austin360 Amphitheater are more than just a home for unique and exhilarating experiences. They have also become a major economic driver in Central Texas. Since it was announced in 2010, Circuit of The Americas has had a cumulative economic impact of $2.8 billion on the Austin metropolitan area, an average of nearly $700 million per year. From October 2013 to September 2014, the Circuit brought in almost $900 million to the Austin metropolitan area — $731 million for events and $166 million attributed to COTA operations. During that time, Circuit of The Americas hosted six motorsports and other major sporting events, 18 concerts and 110 track rentals and other events.
