I love young adult (YA) novels as much as the next person. While these books are really fun to read, I noticed they tend to have predictable plots and similar storylines that are often repeated. Here are five young adult novel clichés that never fail to make me cringe. 1. The popular guy always falls in love with the unpopular girl REMEMBER HOW LANDON AND JAMIE FELL IN LOVE IN A WALK TO REMEMBER ? PHOTO CREDIT: M.CDN.BLOG Some YA novels tend to be narrated from the perspective of the unpopular girl. For some reason, the popular jock always falls in love with her. I don't get it.
