GoGreen After Dark Segway tour We’re big fans of using Segways, and firm believers that it’s one of the more superior forms of transportation. It balances on its own, so it’s not hard to master; once you get the hang of it, it’s pretty fun. Surprisingly, it’s something you can do at night too – and we thoroughly enjoyed GoGreen Segway’s night tour, which takes you deep into the heart of Sentosa after dark. The tour lasts 90 minutes (about a 1.5km-long roundtrip), with four pit stops along the way. These include a pillbox from where natives of the island – once known as Pulau Blakang Mati or ‘Island of Death from Behind’ – used to look out for pirates, as well as bunkers left over from World War II. It’s nowhere near as ‘spine-chilling’ as their ads make it out to seem, but we do learn about plenty of legends involving forest spirits and other mythical creatures. See also: ...
