This post took weeks to write. After the adventures of 2012 that counts the bold reboot of the magazine and the curation of Archifest as high points, FIVEFOOTWAY was at a crossroad. The editorial setup that me and my superfriends of Justin Zhuang , Rachel Koh and Mark de Winne experimented with, while capable of achieving amazing things was not sustainable and with growing commitments in each of our own lives, it meant that we needed a better plan. At the same time, while the studio that we had set up looked to be capable of more, it needed more thought to develop it into an entity that will survive the long run which brought me to weeks of reflection, eventually leading to where we are today.
