A ban on the film was lifted last Friday, though with edits and a new, stricter rating. The director of a controversial new film that offended the sensibilities of some in Singapore says his “Sex.Violence.FamilyValues” will likely get its first screening in the next few months – though with a tougher age restriction and some edits. “I feel the relief of a man who has survived a minor stabbing,” independent film director Ken Kwek told The Wall Street Journal. “No major long-term disabilities.
