Singer-rapper Jay Park has his work cut out for him. He wants to show the world that there is more to Korean hip-hop than a chubby man in sunglasses pretending to ride a horse. Park, 25, does not deny that South Korean pop music has become an ironic and irresistibly catchy global phenomenon courtesy of Psy's Gangnam Style video, which has received more than 1.2 billion views. In a telephone interview with Life! from Seoul, where he was in the midst of recording, he says: "Right now, Psy has the biggest song of 2012, the most viewed video ever in history. So of course when people think of Koreans, they're gonna think of Gangnam Style, Psy. I think that's cool. He did his thing and killed it."
