Liverpool's Brendan Rodgers has praised the immediate impact of the partnership between Suarez and Sturridge

LIVERPOOL, United Kingdom (AFP) - Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has praised the immediate impact of the partnership between Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge, who both scored in the 5-0 win over Norwich City. Sturridge, 23, arrived from Chelsea in a 12 million pounds deal (S$23.4 million) earlier this month and is just the seventh player in Liverpool history to score in each of his first three games for the club. The England international also set up Suarez's 20th goal of the campaign with a neat dummy as the two combined impressively. When Sturridge arrived, Rodgers faced questions about how he would accommodate the two players, but Suarez is thriving in a deeper role that gives him the freedom to roam.
