LG Optimus G to launch in Singapore by end Jan - CNET

The LG Optimus G will be launching soon. (Credit: Aloysius Low/CNET Asia) If you've been holding out for LG's Optimus G since we reviewed it last October , the good news is that it will be here soon. LG sent out a press release early this morning stating that the quad-core handset "will be available starting at the end of January in Singapore followed by other markets worldwide offering 4G LTE service". The same release also mentioned that the handset will launch with Jelly Bean (Android 4.1). We've also recieved a media invite to attend the launch on January 31, which means that the sexy smartphone could be available for retail on the same day or shortly after. The Optimus G, as stated in our review, is the chaebol's "best smartphone yet thanks to its gorgeous design and snappy performance".
