The World's 10 Most Dangerous Airlines

I'm surprised to see TAM, a Brasilian airline, on the list. Just before flyiing on them in 2004, I heard a discussion about airline safety, which stated that the US has the safest airports, the safest airlines, and the safest planes because of the high government standards. And Brasil was the only company copying our standards and regulations. And having spent time in Brasil, and flying around the country in regional airlines there, as well as FAB, the Brasilian Air Force, I'm a bit surprised by their position on this list.
