Marc Quinn Unveils "Planet" Sculpture in Singapore

Marc Quinn unveils giant infant sculpture titled "Planet" in Singapore:

is known for making art in a variety of mediums, but his sculpture work may be his strongest. After sharing two other giant infant sculptures in 2008 titled I nnoscience and Lucas , another one has been revealed for a permanent installation at Singapore's Gardens by the Bay . The piece weighs seven tons and is 10 meters in length and was built around the idea of depicting his son's early childhood. The work as a whole, titled Planet , is a stunning feat of architecture that contains both private and public sentiment.
