Samsung unleashes Galaxy S3 mini for Singapore - CNET

Samsung's Galaxy S III mini is a strange device. It looks exactly like the larger Galaxy S III , but is smaller with a 4-inch WVGA (800 x 480) display. Perhaps the chaebol wants the smartphone to compete directly with Apple's iPhone 5 , or it justs wants to make sure it covers all the different market segments (especially in Europe ). And if rumors of an upcoming larger 5-inch iPhone are true , then it looks like Apple may be striking back at Samsung with a similar strategy. Whatever the case may be, if you're living in sunny Singapore, the handset will be available tomorrow for non-subsidized price of S$568 (US$456.37).
