Opposition's indecision on PM candidate bad for country: Mah

KUALA LUMPUR: The opposition is not able to decide on a candidate as prime minister because of constant bickering and infighting, Gerakan president Datuk Mah Siew Keong said. He stressed the indecision will do no good for the country as picking the top leader was a serious matter because it involves the interest and wellbeing of the people. “There will be no political stability and a capital fight will ensue if that turns into a reality and I pray that it will never happen,” said Mah in his speech at the Gerakan and MCA’s inaugural Stronger Together rally here. “Their constant bickering and infighting is akin to a family drama where everyone has their own nominee and then came a ludicrous idea of a ‘transitional prime minister’ which was created for the sake of passing it to another person.” It saw the gathering of over 2,500 members from both parties, which included leade...
