Singapore celebrates Thaipusam, a Hindu fest. Have a look at this new video 2013. Pretty exotic.

Thaipusam Festival fall on Jan 27th, 2013 is a celebration of the triumph of good, over evil. Each and every devotee who made the walk & carrying milk pots or kavadi with spikes piercing to body & mouth for the journey to Tank Road. Walking barefoot on the hot road surface under the scorching sun is already a great challenge. Seeing Chinese folks participating in the procession and also dishing out food at the Sri Srinvasa Perumal Temple is a good reminder that we are living in a multi racial and cohesive society. Filmed on location at Serangoon Road !
