Adding value to Singapore's tertiary education with Open Source - FutureGov Magazine

Many companies are turning to open source to supply their technology needs today. To better prepare its students for the market, Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP ) has included open source in its teaching curriculum. Red Hat has created a challenging Linux curriculum to meet this demand. Under Red Hat Academy, this curriculum program is offered to secondary, higher education institutions, and economic development organisations, and provides the technology and support to offer a comprehensive open source education. NYP offers several diploma programmes in open source, supported by Red Hat.
