Following the early launch cancellation in Singapore of the HTC One , the Taiwanese company has just announced that the availability of the smartphone on the island-state will be delayed from mid-March to sometime in April. In a statement to CNET Asia, a spokesperson said that “in order to serve our customers better, the HTC One will be launched in April 2013 with authorised resellers and mobile operators.” However, a report from Taiwan brokerage KGI Securities suggests there's more to it than customer satisfaction--it could be due to a low yield in components.
