New guidelines on Presidential Election

In 1993, the last time there was a contest for the office, candidates had self-chosen logos next to their names, but not pictures of themselves. "This will allow voters to recognise the Presidential Election candidates more easily and facilitate their marking of voting choice on the ballot paper," said a statement from the ELD explaining the change.
