Online Citizen courted its own “death” « Opinion

‘DUPLICITY’ is at work again for the reasons given by the government of the “Pro Alien Party” to gazetter TOC. If TOC is dabbling in politics by organising a public event to inform Singaporeans about politics, it was the “Pro Alien Party” that declined the invitation to participate, so as to allow themselves the reason for shutting down TOC. If getting openly involved in politics will invite one’s blog to be gazetted, then TOC is not alone in openly educating Singaporeans about politics. Media Corp and SPH – with its various stable of housebrand of newsprints – are both actively engaging Singaporeans with its daily feed of political propaganda, and public events in support of the programs organised by the “Pro Alien Party”. ‘DUPLICITY’ is at work again, when it does not gazette its own mouthpieces that it control, but will not allow any other to support the Alternative Pol...
