Italian man struck by stray bullet sneezes it out

An Italian who was struck in the temple by a stray bullet during New Year's Eve celebrations is recovering after sneezing the projectile out of his nose. Mr Darco Sangermano, 28, was hit by the .22 calibre bullet in Naples - a city notorious for its rowdy New Year celebrations, often involving firearms. The bullet went through the right side of his head, behind his eye socket and lodged in his nasal passage but, miraculously, did no serious damage. He was taken to hospital but, while waiting to be seen by doctors, he sneezed and the bullet shot out of his right nostril.
