The women’s charter is an outdated piece of #legislation as the law does NOT protect the child? #sosingaporean

I am a married woman in my thirties and writing with regards to the news that recent changes have been made to the women’s charter. Though I am not clear as to what these changes are, knowing how the laws in singapore operate, as a whole , I feel that the women’s charter is unfair to men. Like me , there is quite a number of women who will agree to the same. Women are very different from the past years and as a matter of fact, around 61 percent of women in all divorce cases inititated the process. There are an increasing number of women who also cheat on their husbands. Would this then become an incentive for the woman to get divorced? You dont have to work, no one can force you to and yet you still get your living allowance from your ex husband? And of the day the law is to protect the child, how will it benefit the child who does not get to see the father? Some woman who...
