The Seoul Fashion Week F/W 2010 which ended its seven-day run yesterday drew a slew of overseas buyers and press. Among some 100 buyers who flew to Seoul for the event was Kimberly Christenson, head buyer for Oak, which runs two New York stores selling private label and brand name clothes. Though Oak already carries several Korean brands including Kai-aakmann, Songzio, KayLee Tankus and Enzuvan Cm Cube this was Christenson's first time in Seoul "The owners of Oak came last season to check it out to see if it was a worthwhile thing to start doing," said the 29-year-old head buyer. The arrival of Christenson and her two colleagues served as proof that "yeah, they did think it was worth it."
