SINGAPORE: The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) said that it received strong support for the proposed changes to the Housing Developers Control and Licensing Act (HDCLA) and Housing Developers Rules (HDR). In a statement released on Thursday, URA added that more than 100 respondents gave feedback in response to its online public consultation. Conducted between March 17 and April 18, the respondents also included developers, property agents, solicitors, property consultants and other real estate professionals. URA said that most of the respondents were "generally in favour" of proposed requirements on developers to provide accurate information in showflats and provide more information on the housing units to prospective home-buyers.
