An Israeli Arab journalist claims she was denied entry to a Netanyahu conference after she refused to remove her bra

JERUSALEM - AN ISRAELI Arab correspondent for al Jazeera television was denied entry to a news conference with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after refusing a security guard's demand to remove her bra, she said on Wednesday. Najwan Simri was one of several journalists subjected to what the local Foreign Press Assocation (FPA) denounced as 'humiliating' partial strip searches, at an annual reception held by Mr Netanyahu on Tuesday with foreign media representatives. Ms Simri, 31, who was born in Israel and has worked for the Qatari-based television station for eight years, said as she was being screened she was taken behind a curtain by a female agent, at the Jerusalem hotel where the event was held.
