Khazmin reflects on the recent uproar about a young woman's use of expletives during her convocation

There was a big hoohah about a young woman's use of expletives during her convocation recently. It was probably accidental but nonetheless, the knives were out. I personally don't have a problem with it and I don't think she meant any harm; the heat of the moment probably got the better of her. Most folks I know don't think it's a big deal either but I disagree that it's something that should be celebratead. When I was in Secondary Four, we had an awards ceremony for the top students in school. I wasn't one of them but my class did have two prize-recipients that day. Being the school's resident outcasts, we planned something special to show support for our buddies..
