Basketball: Clippers end Heat's NBA road streak

LOS ANGELES: The improving Los Angeles Clippers surprised star-studded Miami, downing the Heat 111-105 to snap the Heat's 13-game road winning streak. Rookie forward Blake Griffin had 24 points and 14 rebounds for the Clippers, who led most of the way and fended off Miami's late challenge to claim just their 13th victory of the NBA season. Eric Gordon chipped in 26 points and Baron Davis had 20 points with nine assists for the Clippers, who were serenaded by chants of "Beat the Heat" by their ecstatic fans as the clock ticked down. Miami's vaunted star trio of Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh came through -- Wade scoring 31 points, James 27 and Bosh 26.
