Bae Yong Jun hospitalised for neck injuries

SEOUL: Korean superstar Bae Yong Jun was hospitalised last week, after his old neck injury acted up, reported Korean media. "It is true Bae has been hospitalised," said an official from Keyeast, the entertainment company where Bae is the largest shareholder, on Thursday. Bae's hospitalisation was apparently a direct result of an injury he suffered three years earlier. The 38-year-old actor hurt his neck and shoulders after falling off a horse while shooting the drama series "Legend" in 2007. Despite undergoing surgery for his injury after the show wrapped, Bae did not completely recover. Fatigue stemming from a busy work schedule, combined with the cold weather, triggered a relapse and he was rushed to hospital in an ambulance on Tuesday.
