Why is SBS alternating between single-deck buses and double-decker buses on crowded routes, our reader asks. #farehike
RECENTLY, I started work at Science Park Drive and the only bus that goes there is SBS Transit service 92. Every morning, the bus skips the stop I am at because the vehicle is overcrowded. There was one morning when I saw three service 92 buses skip the stop. I ended up taking the fourth bus and was late for work. If overcrowding is an issue, why can't SBS provide double-deckers? I see other services that alternate between a single-deck bus and a double-decker. Now that bus fares are going up, standards will have to go up as well.
