How much of the Reserves has been really used? (TOC)

What does the average Singaporean wants for himself and family? He wants a decent job, affordable roof over his head, education for his children, reasonable health care, reasonable and convenient transport, and law and order in his country. For the last decade or so, things are not turning out as it should be. Standards are declining. The average Singaporean, young and old, now faces difficulties in getting a job, price of housing has soared to unaffordable level, there is a sense of unfulfilment to acquire a place for your child in the “competitive” education system from primary to university, healthcare is becoming expensive and not prompt, public transport is becoming a daily stressful exercise, the once reassuring peace and calm in the society tend to be slipping in standards. Singapore for the average Singaporen has turned out to be a stressful and claustophobic place...
